STARGATE SG-1 - Martin's Ship Remote

Commissioned by the original production molds owner, i had been tasked to produce casting of the Martin’s ship remote device from season 4, episode 11 “ Point of no return”.

This mold was old and fragile, so needed extra care. 2 coats or release agent was applied for every castings.

Painting was pretty straight forward ;
- Priming
- Black basecoat
- Silver
- Black Weathering
- Clear coat

The final product needed a “screen”. So after getting the static graphics designed, i got them printed on high photo quality paper, glued it to the resin casting, and also glued a piece of clear plexiglass on top.
It made the trick :)
